Is bernicia or byron central better for med students at Newcastle uni?

hi guys,

just wanted some advice on picking between single or mixed gender accom. I’ve heard single is often just international/ religious students and I’m not opposed to mixed at all, but I’m not very big on drinking/clubbing so would all girls be better for me or is the general consensus that mixed is the better choice?
