How do you like to use chicken drumsticks?
Chicken drumsticks are usually pretty cheap as far as meat goes at stores in my area. I think people use them less than thighs or breasts though. Maybe we can showcase some different ways we use them.
Yesterday I made a slow cooker chicken and dumplings recipe from Budget Bytes. I put as many chicken drumsticks as would fit in the bottom of my slow cooker in a single layer- I think it was 6. Then I just dumped everything on top and started the cooker. After cooking all day, I took the drumsticks out and took the meat off of the bones very easily and added it back to the soup before make the dumplings. There was maybe 1 1/2 to 2 cups of meat. There were probably about 5-6 servings of soup and dumplings.
