Those Who Have Retired: What Do You Wear Now?

For context, I'm a writer and an artist. I have a character who was honorably discharged from the Navy after a serious injury, and I wanna make sure I represent her properly. So my question is, for those of you who have retired or been discharged from the Navy, what outfits did you find yourself gravitating towards? Were you able to slip back into your personal style that you had before, or did it take a while? Did you find yourself gravitating towards more minimalist style clothing with little to no embellishments?

Any insights help! Thanks in advance!

So, years and years ago, I was gifted makeup from a dear family friend who had passed away. He had an incredible collection, but my favorite of all of it was this gorgeous Lancome "La Rouge Absolu" lipstick in the color "Rhum Riche". Now, I'm a pale, cool-olive-toned girly, so finding red lipsticks that don't wash me out or look wrong on me is hard enough as it is.

Anywhore, I started running out recently, so I tried looking it up online so I could buy a new one. Apparently, this color has either been completely discontinued, or they've renamed it. Either way, I can't find ANYTHING about this lipstick on resale sites, on Amazon, or on the Lancome website itself and I'm at my wit's end!

If anyone could tell me about any dupes that have the same look and feel of this lipstick, I'd be so so so grateful!
