I’m trying to remember an old English folk song I learned some 25 years ago and have since forgotten the name and all of the lyrics. What I remember is that it was probably at least a couple of centuries old and it anthropomorphized the seasons of the year. It describes each season as a woman with the characteristics of the season, describing how she walks and what she wears. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
