There's a song i heard about 15ish years ago about things that go bump in the night, but i can't find it. The chorus went something like:

"Imagine you're laying there,

So terrified (or petrified) with fright,

With those squeaks and creaks and noises,

And the things that go bump in the night"

I'm not sure about the exact words from the third line. This was a song from an old middle school English book, and we had to learn the "creepy" sounds as part of the vocabulary from the Halloween chapter.

It's a real song, not one made specifically for this book. I remember that we had a bon jovi song in another chapter, and some other popular bands, so I'm pretty sure these were all commerical songs. Does anyone know who played this song?
