Last week (May 4 & May 10) as a vacation I travelled to / from LIS, to / from Toronto. Glad I read this subreddit, waited ~2.5 hours each side for EES & manual passport check lines (and super glad I didn’t get caught through the duty free shops before entering the EES line at LIS!)

I have to go through LIS again next month, but this time leaving / coming back to Amsterdam (Schipol). I have a Canadian passport - since I’m not travelling outside of the EU, (1) is EES even asked for inter-EU, and if so, (2) are lines as bad for non-EU passport holders?

Does anyone have experience with inter-EU travel and could provide some colour? Thanks!
