Hello everyone! I have tried to adapt 2 characters from a turn-based gacha RPG called Limbus Company. For those in the know, they are Valencina and respectively, the Dihui Star.

For those curios, the first is a disgraced war veteran and ex-mafia boss. While the gang itself is themed around using explosions to accelerate their weapons, the character itself has a precognition ability that gives her a bigger chance of dodging attacks, but it gets weaker the more you do manage to hit her. As such, I wanted to theme her fight around having the players carefully pick their attacks against her. As her character in the original game was quite irascible and aggressive, I wanted to translate this with the "Precognition counter", going further into the "carefully pick their attacks" theme with a punishment for failing to do so. Using all spells in the first phase will make things easier, but it means that very few spells are left when she starts actually punishing players. To give her more action economy, I wanted to start the fight with a number of bandits equal to the number on player, as minions.

The second one is a renowned sword-master with the ability to manipulate time, to a small extent. Paired with her monstrous speed, she leaves behind afterimages that deal additional strikes. In the original game, she is in a fractured/blurry state because of her powers. I wanted to theme this fight around those very Afterimages, but instead of a simple Multi-attack time X or additional damage, I decided to lean into her fracturing with something like Echo Knight`s clones. In a fight with her, the Afterimages would be her defense and they would also replace the need for minions to counteract the strategy of ganging up on her. "Phantom Step" was added to counter simply grappling or rooting her in place, while "Deathedge", I admit, I have added it because she has a similar attack in the original game and I also wanted to something to scare the players.

Feedback is greatly appreciated. I plan for each fight to be at the end of a dungeon or as a final boss to a one-shot and they would generally be faced around players lvl 5 or 6.

I also had some inspiration and I am planning to translate the remaining characters for the related story (Matthias, Rien and Calisto) into such fights. As a few first ideas I have for each:

-Rien is part of a cult-like organization that follows the order of an unknown god. The character itself is themed around switching weapons to suit the situation. As such, I am starting with a Cleric (either Forge or War Domains), with a weapon that can change shapes between attacks.

-Matthias is a brute that was part of a gang obsessed with vengeance, each member carrying their own "Book of Grudges". Because of this I really want to make him a dwarf. The gang uses special "Vengeance" tattoos that boost stats based on grudges resolved or if they are hurt in battle. I have the idea of going with a Storm Herald (for fire storm) Barbarian with an ability that gives him a small stacking damage buff on his next attack, whenever he is hit.

-Callisto is an artist that specializes in sculpting using human body-parts, that was kicked from his art circle for sticking to this savage and outmoded art-style. I honestly have no other idea then making him an automaton bard of some sorts.
