Hi all,
My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for next March/early april and would love some advice on our itinerary. We’re flying into Singapore first, then heading to Indonesia for around 3 weeks (flying back from Singapore but could be open to change).
We’re trying to avoid Bali (just feels a bit too busy/touristy for what we want), but beyond that we’re pretty open.
We’re both quite active and like doing things (exploring, a bit of adventure, etc.), but also want a good mix of:
- amazing food/drinks
- Unique hotels
- a bit of diving/snorkelling (but not a full-on dive trip)
We were originally really keen on doing a boat (Rascal voyages) in Raja Ampat for about a week, but it’s looking quite expensive — so now we’re trying to figure out a good alternative route or mix of places.
Would love any recommendations for:
- a good 2–3 week route after Singapore
- specific islands/regions to prioritise (e.g. Komodo, Lombok, Flores, etc.)
- great hotels or standout experiences
- whether Raja Ampat is worth stretching for or if there are comparable options
Any advice or past itineraries would be massively appreciated — thanks so much!
