Why are Virtus owners going on such an ego-trip nowadays?

I’ve been observing that many Virtus owners take it to their ego and their heart when they see another sedan (even if it’s in a completely different segment) on the road. They try to cut you, overtake you, tail you and things like that.

Some Virtus owners just don’t care but I bought a BYD Seal recently and one of the things I’ve observed is a handful of Virtus drivers aggressively overtaking, honking and going on a massive ego trip on the road etc.

I came across a reel on Instagram a few days ago where a guy is comparing his Virtus with a Porsche and overtakes it and does not allow the Porsche to move forward while flexing how “FAST” his Virtus is in front of an Porsche.

Senior PM - Making above 4.5L/Month - Thinking about starting my own firm

Almost 30YO - Senior Product Manager at an AI B2B SaaS company. No MBA, just B.Tech. Managing ~9 people.

Compensation is solid (~above 4.5L/month post tax), role is decent but has been feeling stagnant + burnt out since the past few months. I was offered a Santa-Clara based role by another company but I’m not too keen on moving out of India due to personal reasons at the moment. I’m considering starting a consulting firm of my own - mainly Product Strategy/Roadmap + 0-1 MVP Building + Product A-Z Execution and UI/UX.

I’ve asked around a few people and they advised me not to build a product-centric consulting firm. However, I know a few founders (who may become my first clients) and they told me to go the typical Indian IT Consulting / Outsourcing route as they know many people who cracked it that way.

I would really appreciate some thoughts!
