2002 American Standard (modded)
Finalized my latest project. A 2002 Fender American Standard (had a rosewood neck stock). Warmoth Warhead 3A flame maple neck fatback profile and 10" radius fretboard in satin nitro. I rounded the fret ends and fretboard. Stripped the nitro off the frets and polished them to a mirror finish. Adjusted the nut (cut pretty high). Electronics are Seymour Duncan Antiquity Texas Hots and a Pearly Gates humbucker. All 250k pots on a three way switch (I can still get the in-between positions). Flipped the humbucker around to tame the highs. I am a little annoyed that the high e and b strings are off center from the pole pieces and I didn't order a trembucker version of the Pearly Gates, but it does not affect the tone.
Now I need a new project. I think I'll do a Tele with a single coil neck and a humbucker. Modern hardtail bridge without the ashtray and in arctic white with an all rosewood neck.
