Go to Ivy or stay at T70?
Hi guys, I'm currently an incoming sophomore at a T70 majoring in BME and planning on being pre-med. I recently got into Columbia, which is fantastic but the problem is I've heard really bad things about Columbia's grade deflation in engineering. If I stay at the T70, I have my club positions, research, separate projects, and other ECs that I have been building this entire past year. If I go to Columbia, I'll have the prestige and name of an Ivy, elite research opportunities, more job potential if I don't end up being premed, but also grade deflation. Cost isnt really an issue for me, I guess I'm kind of looking for advice on what to do? I really want to go to a top med school because the specialty I want is very competitive, so wherever I go for undergrad will just be to maximize my shot at that.
