My mom sleeved these straight out of the packs 20+ years ago for her two sons. We finally pulled them out again today
Growing up, my mom used to buy Pokémon packs during the original WOTC era and immediately would sleeve the cards she thought were special. She wasn’t a collector herself, but she just thought her kids (myself and my brother) would appreciate them someday, which we absolutely do today, and did when we were kids.
Most of them were sleeved right after being pulled and basically untouched since childhood. Seeing them again from when we were younger was such a blast from the past.
Favourite card from these is definitely the first edition Lugia from NeoGenesis. What’s your favourite vintage card?
