Coating leeching? Safe to cook with?

Are these safe to continue cooking on?

I have a set of Outbound nested camp pots. Last year I cooked bacon in them on an extremely hot camp stove and it caused the pans to warp out of shape. My fellow campers didn't want to share my bacon because they said that a coating on the pots likely came off into the food. Is this true? Are they safe to cook with still? I have attached images of the pots post-scrubbing. I didn't try to remove the black stains but they feel clean to the touch inside. According to the original listing, they are stainless steel 202, but there are no markings anywhere on the pots to confirm this. Original listing with discription: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/outbound-stainless-steel-camping-pot-set-7-pc-0766086p.html

Bonus: the listing says they have a copper layer on the bottom but it really seems to be an orange plastic sheet that flakes off in the dishwasher and melts over the fire....
