M21, 5’11.5

Was unbelievably skinny when I started lifting around 9 months ago. Weighed around 137-140, depending.

Anyway, started a routine 3x per week and ate a TON. Probably 4-600 calories about maintenance every day. I’m at 166 now.

My lifts have all steadily gone up, and I try to add a rep whenever I can, absolutely try to get close to failure each exercise. Even still, I’ve clearly also gained a good amount of fat.

I‘d estimate I’m between 18-22% body fat right now. Should I do a mini-cut for 4-6 weeks to get that down, and then resume a bulk? I’m basically just skinny fat right now lol. Or does it not matter and I can just continue?
