I recently acquired a 2018 Volvo XC60 T6 310hp and require tires of size 235/55/R19.
My annual mileage ranges from 15,000 to 20,000 km. Approximately 15% of my driving is sporty, while the remainder is more relaxed. My routes consist of 70% out-of-city driving and 30% in-city driving. I reside in a region that experiences an equal balance of rainy and very hot, sunny days. Fuel economy is not a primary concern for me. While I do not anticipate exceptional wear, I also wish to avoid tires with a significantly short lifespan. Comfort is important, but I am willing to prioritize performance, primarily for safety reasons, as I believe tires have previously helped me avoid accidents.
On my previous vehicle, I was quite satisfied with the Continental SportContact7. I had considered trying the new Pirelli P Zero R, but they were unavailable in my size. Consequently, I sought the SportContact7, but these were also not available in the required size.
Based on general reviews, it seems that the PremiumContact7 might be a suitable option for my needs.
What are your thoughts on this?
