Hello, so my boyfriend and I are wondering why his PS5 keeps suddenly closing while playing some specific games.

When we play games like Fortnite, FNAF secret of the mimic VR/non-VR, Spider-man 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator, etc. The PS5 closes by itself very suddenly without a noise after like 20min or something like that of gameplay. For some reason I could play Final Fantasy VII Remake for several hours without the PS5 crashing, and we can play roblox, but there is a lot of games we can't play.

To restart the PS5, I need to unplug the power cable and plug it again, or else it doesn't start. And then the startup screen is like repairing stuff and saying the PS5 wasn't closed correctly.

Also I don't think it's overheating bcuz the PS5 doesn't even get hot at all, its basically cold. The PS5 is not standing, its laying on a table where it can breathe very well.

We also have a side USB drive that can stock PS4 games, idk if it has something to do with this, but the games that makes the PS5 crash are PS5 games.

The PS5 has been doing this since we made it stand once, bcuz my boyfriend got like a stand for it that required to make the PS5 standing. It's also one of the first models from 2020. We removed that stand after like a week or so. Ik I've heard that making the old PS5 models stand is bad, but I think it was more linked to overheating issues. Maybe it's a coincidence.

We also tried to change the wire (we took the PS4 wire I think, the PS4 never crashes like that), we tried to plug it onto different places and stuff, it didn't matter.

Anybody know what the issue could be? Is it like the alimentation or something?
