I want to apply for a re-entry permit for my wife and son, and they have Dubai visas. While applying, I can select only Dubai as the entry emirate. Does this mean they can enter only through Dubai? Can’t they enter through Sharjah?

Has anyone entered the UAE through Sharjah Airport while holding a Dubai visa with a re-entry permit?
