Trying to make a decision in the next day or so and want a sanity check from people who know VW / dealer math better than I do.

I’m shopping a 2026 Atlas R-Line with captain’s chairs and have two real options:

Dealer 1:

- New incoming unit

- $56,889 before tax (~$2k off MSRP)

- not on the lot yet, but dealer confirmed in writing they can get it on 4.29 or will sign paperwork to take advantage of 0% and provide a loaner

Dealer 2:

- $53,246 before tax (~$5.5k off MSRP)

- also qualifies for 0% for 60

- 5,342 miles (sales manager demo)

- has been in service about 120 days

- never titled, can still be sold as new

- warranty clock started 4 months ago at in service date

- I’m planning to inspect/test drive it tomorrow

Will have a trade in as well.

Would you take the demo here, or pay more for the fresh unit?

Appreciate any help.
