I’ve bought this iPhone 8 recently just to tinker with, and I noticed it has this extra layer stuck on, which makes the home button feel deeper in. Is this safe to remove? Is it just a protector? Or is it an aftermarket front glass? Surprisingly, 3D Touch actually works, and the display quality feels original. Is this what a “refurbished screen” looks like? Edit: it’s just a screen protector

I bought a iPhone 11 screen on AliExpress, the options were OEM, OLED, or incell. Picked the "OLED" one (even though original on this phone is LCD), and I got a bad incell screen that was blueish and had bad contrast ratio. It even said OLED on the box itself. Not sure if the OEM one would have been really OEM, since the OLED was a lie.

So I wonder, do OLED screens for iPhone 11 exist? From the factory, iPhone 11 has a LCD screen. Has anyone encountered a real OLED iPhone 11 screen?

Also, I once bought a OnePlus 8T screen and it was actually fully like OEM, so I still somewhat trust AliExpress, maybe not so much with iPhone screens.

What's your experience with screens from AliExpress?
