I don’t mean their personalities, more the way they talk and react emotionally. Since they’re supposed to be in their late 20s / early 30s now, I expected a bit more evolution in how they express things. It’s is true that you can see a bit of that with Chloe, but Max seems stuck. She is a professor/instructor and it still feels like she hasn’t evolved that much in 10 years.
I’m not sure if it’s intentional (like them slipping back into old dynamics when they’re together) or just the writing style staying the same as the original game.
For me it felt a bit off, moreover if you romance Chloe, like all the deal with the kiss if they were together years and likely did more than kissing.
Curious if others noticed this or if it didn’t stand out to you.
