Hi all, this may be a bit of a long one but please bare with me. Trying to give as much info since I have limited knowledge in the correct route to go and wanna give you all the most info for transparency. (Apologies if there’s any spelling errors. Autocorrect despises me).

Backstory:
I recently got the Pedders XA Coilovers installed on my 5th Gen and the shop was able to lower it about 2in in the front like I asked. The shop said they did the alignment as well after they finished the car. The car currently has the MMR 6th Gen SS 1LE wheels on it. 20x10 in the front and 20x11 in the rear. Front tires are 285/35/20, and rears are 305/35/20 (5th Gen ZL setup). Never had any issues with the wheels and tires ever since they got put on and have driven on them for about a year or two.

Issues:
When I got the car back, I felt the immediate difference in the turning response and body sway was minimized. The issue though, I noticed the next day when washing the car that the front tires were showing signs of rubbing and cutting on the outsides from the front fenders. The rears are totally fine, but the fronts are definitely rubbing. I’m losing chunks of tires. I recently took it to another shop to see if they could adjust the camber/alignment again and they said it was way out of spec and put it back to OE spec. After doing that, the car feels like it drives less tight (if that makes sense), but when I hit a pretty decent bump in the road I still hear the front tires smack the fender.

Guidance:
I’m trying to gauge if I need to get adjustable camber plates that come for the suspension separately, OR should I try again at adjusting the camber and hope for the best. Another option I heard was raising the car OR actually getting tires with a smaller sidewall. I love the thick sidewalls on the current tires, and want to track the car later this year, but need some help deciding if I should go down to 30mm sidewalls instead. Another idea I had was should I go down to 19in wheels similar to the Z28 spec? Any advice is super appreciated. Please bear with me as I’m still learning about this car. It’s been an absolute dream of a ride.

TIA!
