Title. My Optiplex 9020 mini-tower has a 4th-gen Intel i5-4690 CPU, 8GB kit of DDR3 RAM, 2x500GB HDDs of storage, and a 6GB Gigabyte GTX 1060 OC Windforce GPU.

I just got the GPU off of Facebook Marketplace for $50 (I only spent $13 in savings because I used the money from my own FB listings to pay $37 in cash). It is in excellent physical condition and the description said it works great and doesn’t overheat. I haven’t tested it yet, and was wondering if the 9020’s stock 290W PSU is enough? I don’t think that it meets the minimum PSU requirements for the GPU, and I definitely don’t want to fry my budget build. Do you guys have any reliable ATX PSU suggestions that are around $60 or less?

I saved my Amazon gift card from my last birthday and I can pay for a PSU upgrade and another 8GB RAM kit with it. I know, I’m doing some crazy budgeting over here. If you want to know the price breakdown of my soon-to-be gaming PC, let me know and I can make another post about it. I might go ahead and make one anyways because I’ve currently only invested around $25-50 for my setup so far and no one in my life really understands how insane this is.
