I posted a bit ago about pivoting from litigation to in-house or claims.

I applied for a position that I am qualified for and would crush. I have a feeling that the salary is less than what I listed as my minimum with my application BUT the position is eligible for bonuses. Short story - I would likely take less than what I listed but also did not want to underbid. It also listed my current salary. But now I am worried that I will be weeded out on salary alone.

The job description on Linked-In lists to whom the position reports. Is it a terrible idea to message her? And if not, what could I possibly say to get an interview?
