I found an injured bird while driving, and the bird seems concussed; I moved the bird off the road and cleaned an ant I found on it. I do not have a box with me, so I have it in a bag with some paper towels and a hoodie cushioning the bird.

I have tried calling local organizations and using ahnow, but they either cannot handle birds or are unavailable through call. I am willing to drive and meet someone halfway, and I can keep the bird overnight but I worry for its immediate needs.

Is there anyone who is located near Columbia-Lexington-Sumter-Camden-Kershaw, South Carolina who can either take the bird or be able to better care for it overnight and transport it in the morning?
