I had a food fo thought moment when I realized, Why would changing the heart/power supply of a robot change the personality.
I am an IT student, and I was rewatching the story of Protoman. At the part where he leaves Dr.light because he thinks that changing his power core will change who he is, aka personality.
It really doesn't make sense because Protomans cpu is his brain and also a memory holder. His power supply is given through electricity, which is why he is working. Hypothetically, its common knowledge is that both computers and humans have the same function, according to my computer teacher. Cpu is the brain, and the power supply is the heart.
Dr. Light could've told Protoman that changing his heart won't change him. It's just to fix his broken heart, and yet Protoman was the one who broke his own heart because of his fear of losing himself, so he just went off by himself.
What adds up is that Dr. Willy, upon finding him, changes his core into a nuclear one, way more efficient and last longer. And he was alright! Now I can't remember, but it does believe Willy reprogrammed him, or he just side with Willy immediately after he saved him, becuase he owes him, and wants to kick Rock/Megaman becuase he thinks Dr.light replace him.
Yeah, that's all I want to rant about.
