Hello, i'm planning a box truck build and would like to get a small 125 or 200cc motorcycle.

ive thought about putting it inside the box but it would smell and take lots of space.

ive thought about putting it outside in the back on a bike carrier but im too afraid of thieves and as the back doors will be the only entry of the truck, you would have to move the bike way too much out of the way.

So i've thought about putting the box further away from the cabin (or just putting a smaller box to not have too much overhang) and building an extended over the cab storage or bed part.
It would give you a sort of tunnel to drive the bike into. Then you could hide it on both sides with heavy duty truck curtains or lightweight aluminum doors.

What are your thoughts on that ?

Has anyone done that before (would love pictures or video) ?

What are the pros, cons or flaw you see in this idea ?

Thanks !

Hello, i got a working canadian visa for 2 years and i will need a car.
As im planning do travel and do road trips in Canada and USA between seasonnal work period, i need a vehicle i can easily camperize and sleep in but i dont want something super huge or anything.
So that's how i came accross the Honda Element and it basically tick all my boxes.

I guess, coming to the Element sub, everyone will say "yes" but do you think an Element is good for a 2 years visa ?

Only three things :

- I 100% want a manual transmission, and i've seen that the Element was one of the rare "recent" car to have been sold in NA in manual in reasonnable numbers (at least ive seen more in manual on marketplace than other models i was looking at).

- I have a pretty small budget (5000$ canadian) but i dont care about anything : ugly color, paint fading, dents, dead plastics or rust (that is not at a dangerous level) as i plan to resell the car in 1 year or 2.

- I want as much reliability as possible : what are the points of failure known on elements ? What do i need to check if i go check one out ? Frame rust, engine running good, suspensions... what else ?

Do you think i can find one like this in my price range and do you think its a good idea for what i intend to use it for ?
