Hello, we are about to take another trip to New Orleans here in a couple weeks (a couple weeks post Jazz Fest). I was wondering what specific places am I most likely to find hard bop, bebop, or free/avant jazz specifically on our around Frenchman street. We are already big fans of The Blue Nile and have wanted to see the Spotted Cat for a long time now.

I'm also a big Afro Cuban jazz fan.
