I started my approved BSW program this spring in Utah. My husband and I are now moving to Texas for financial reasons. I have already been accepted into a local school in TX to complete my BSW. I will need a 1-2 semester extension on my plan, 1.) because I cannot attend this summer due to moving, and 2.) because they may not accept 3-4 classes that my previous school accepted, from The Art Institute, which 99% of state schools do not accept those credits. My VRC is saying he may not be able to get approval for another extension, as I only had 5 months left in GI Bill. What could happen? This seems odd, but what do I know. I got A's and B's in this past Spring semester that I just completed and have been totally compliant. Advice please, TIA.

We are looking at purchasing our first home in New Braunfels. The model we have chosen is available in the Winding Creek neighborhood on the southwest end of NB in Marion ISD and the other home is located in Mayfair in Comal ISD. We have three kids with the oldest heading into middle school this fall. Mayfair looks like it doesn’t have much to offer yet and it looks a bit overly marketed and branded for my taste… But everyone seems to be raving about what it will be in the next few years and I do see the plans and they look fairly impressive. Anyone that lives in that neighborhood or has insights would be wonderful, on the upside I do hear that the neighborly and community aspect of Mayfair is awesome, and the fact that the elementary school is located within the neighborhood and the middle school is being built there is a huge plus as well.
