Just launched. Our product is an AI-driven context engine for engineering teams. Here’s what already keeps us 2 founders up at night; tell me what we’re missing.

Problem-1: Adoption Passive capture only works if the integrations are deep enough. Shallow integrations mean shallow context. We think we’ve solved this. Not 100% sure.

Problem-2: Trust Asking a team to let a tool watch their workflow is a non-trivial ask. Some engineers will hate this idea on principle. We’re betting the value outweighs that instinct.

Problem-3: Timing Are engineering teams actively looking to solve this, or is it a painkiller they don’t know they need yet? We might be too early.

P.S.- Roast our landing page, our positioning, our pitch, basically everything.

Hey! Co-founder here.

First week on a new codebase is always the same. You understand the code. You don’t understand any of the decisions behind it. You start asking questions and the answers are either vague, outdated, or “that guy left.”

I’ve been that engineer more times than I’d like to admit.

So my friend and I built ContextBeat. It’s not documentation. It’s not a knowledge base. It’s the reasoning your team produces everyday, preserved automatically before it gets the chance to disappear.

We launched on Product Hunt just a few hours back and the site is live, along with the waitlist.

Do check it out. Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions!

Straightforward ask.

We’re almost done with the v1 engine. We think it’ll work just fine. We need people who’ll prove us wrong.

ContextBeat captures institutional knowledge automatically across your engineering workflow - no new habits, no documentation overhead. But it needs real teams in real environments before we’d bet money on that claim.

What we’re looking for: Active teams. Honest feedback. Low tolerance for things that don’t work.

What you get: Both founders in your corner throughout. Real onboarding. First say on what gets built next.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, grab the opportunity.

Hey Product Hunters! 👋 Co-founder of ContextBeat here. We just went live on Product Hunt today.

The problem in one line: the reasoning behind engineering decisions disappears faster than the code that came from it.

GitHub shows you what changed, Slack gives you fragments of why, and Jira shows you what was planned. Neither gives you the full picture when you actually need it.

In short, the code survives; the reasoning evaporates.

ContextBeat fixes that - automatically, without adding anything to your team’s plate.

Waitlist open. 🚀

Have you or your team ever faced this issue? Would love to hear your experience.
