The Original "Love Tale", Dracula (1979)

The Original "Love Tale", Dracula (1979)

it differs a bit from the novel Dracula, but there are still alot of good things about this one

One thing I never understand though is why they always make Dracula be hurt by sunlight in his movie adaptations, he isn't hurt by sunlight in the book, just weakened by it. He walks around in daylight when he gets to london.

Thoughts on Dracula (1958)?

No Dracula adaptation truly adapts the book 1 to 1, they all are different in their own ways, but this one always stands out to me. Vampire movies were changed forever when this came out. It isn't really that close to the book, there are alot of differences, but everything else makes up for that 100%

The best Van Helsing, The most iconic Dracula next to Bela Lugosi, and all in never before seen Bloody dripping colour! 🩸

Has anyone seen this movie? A Sequel to Dracula about Mina and Van Helsing's children?

It is faithful to Dracula except one glaring change, In this movie, a sequel to the novel Dracula, Mina Murray is now married to Van Helsing and have two kids together? At the end of Dracula, it skips ahead 7 years and shows that Mina and Jonathan have stayed married that whole time and have had a son named after their friend Quincy Morris, who died in the final fight against Dracula. But this movie doesn't count that ending, and makes Mina and Van Helsing (Who is way older than Mina) be the ones to marry and have kids. I've read Dracula, but correct me if i'm wrong, I feel like Mina and Van Helsing didn't have "that" kind of connection, y'know? Just weird. I don't think much of the story would have changed if it was still about Mina and Jonathan's kid, Quincy Harker, with Van Helsing being a grandfather-like figure who lives with them
