PIP confirmation of identity?

Hello all,

I recently sent off to start my PIP application via mail as I don’t like phone calls due to autism and auditory processing issues. Yesterday I received a text from the DWP stating they can’t move forward with my application until they confirm my identity, and provided a phone number and no other way to prove my identity. I called them today, and after being on hold for 15 minutes spoke to a lady who asked for my name and national insurance number. She asked what other benefits I am on? (I am on universal credit but don’t remember the application asking about that at all) so I told her I was on universal credit. She then said she was unable to prove my identity and I would need to call back with more information and security question answers? The problem is I have no recollection of making an online account for anything PIP related. I asked her what information I would need and she said she could not tell me due to confidentiality issues. How am I meant to get the info when I don’t know what information I need to get? I am at my wits end and don’t know what to do. If anyone else has had something similar to this any advice would be greatly appreciated.
