Tier list on how well main characters could climb mountains.

As always, main characters' mountain-climbing skills get better as they go from left to right.

Do you think 'Project Sekai' might add a new unit because the game is currently in its decline stage?

I had a conversation with a certain poster on another thread and these were some of the replies that I got:

> That's not the video, kondo said it in a stream. It's been like 2-3 years so I honestly can't tell you which stream it was, but it I believe it was around 1st or 2nd anni when he was asked about the possibilities of new units. I believe that was also the stream where they clarified other things like why nijiiro stories was 2 members instead of the whole group, and some other questions like that, if that helps to find it. What kondo said, as far as I remember, was that he feels like adding a new unit is inevitable if he wants the game to stay popular, and said he would start considering the idea around 5th anni. Though I do also remember him saying he didn't actually like the idea of adding a new unit and it was more of a necessity than something he wanted to do. > > > I kind of have to dispute that part because I would like to point out that BanG Dream! units are still rock bands in the end whereas Project Sekai units cover wide variety of music genres. > > I... really don't see how that affects things? At all? Proseka don't have a team writing their music, they commission producers. They also don't do live concerts regularly where the VAs have to play their instruments. Nor do they create remixes or new arrangements for any of the songs they cover. Adding a new proseka unit is just creating new characters and finding voice actors who can sing, which yes is a lot of work but games like bandori have been doing it for years with the added costs of training said voice actors for live concerts. The team creating their music also need to incorporate new instruments (violin, synthesizer etc), it's significantly more costly no matter how you look at it. Adding a new unit in proseka is obviously going to be very costly but not to the point where it's impossible? The game is currently in it's decline stage, that's literally the perfect time to introduce extension strategies, and a new unit would revive the game like crazy. I'm literally a business major so I assure you I wouldn't ignore the logistics in cases like these.

> I didn't read it anywhere, it's just something I noted from an observational standpoint. The YouTube videos and songs get considerably less views than they did during the game's prime, I remember bug got a million views in an hour while crash the party got about 30k-ish views within an hour. But you also have to understand that it's inevitable with pretty much every game ever, moreso with gacha games like these. And typically, most products enter the decline stage after reaching their peak anyway. Prsk has already reached it's peak most likely, so the game's gonna decline slowly and lose popularity over time, like all games do. Things like new units are usually to extend a game's lifespan

Obviously, this person could be right (and perhaps we will eventually see a new unit someday), but I was wondering what you guys make of the whole thing. For one, does anyone have information on how the game is doing Japan, for instance? Also, what do you make of the argument for a new unit in the second part of this argument? Finally, if we do get a new unit, what do you think it will be? If you ask me, I've been wondering whether a V-Tuber-type unit could be a possibility.
