I've just started MCLA a little while ago but I can't seem to fix my car at gas stations. I've tried driving under the icon below 15 mph, stopping and waiting under the icon, parking next to the gas pumps, exiting and re-entering, finding another gas station, and flashing my lights, but none of it seems to get the menu to pop up.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to progress further the story first to get the gas stations to work?

Edit: I downloaded the most recent version of Xenia Canary and the "bug" went away. I think it might have been something to do with the older version I was using.
