personally I think it was easier than any past paper I’ve done, I just know that I did fuck the first 6 marker bcs I forgot to write abt hazards and accuracy
like, the point of the subject is our ability to analyse the texts and write essays about that analysis. but because we don’t get a copy of the texts, 90% of our revision for the subject has to be learning quotes (most of which we won’t even use in the exam) and it takes time away from revising for other subjects.
as someone who is good at analysis but really struggles to remember quotes (and equations, though formula sheets fix that) it just pisses me off so much that I have to sacrifice revision time for my other subjects to learn the quotes when that shouldn’t be what the subject tests
I’ve done so much English lit revision since Saturday that doing a biology paper is literally a break for me and feels fun. This is so depressing considering bio in my 2nd least favourite subject
