Hi everyone this is Rufus my Pac-Man I got maybe a month ago, about the setup, i have day and nighttime heating on thermostats to keep it at 75-80 daytime and 65-70 nighttime I also have a 7% UVB that stretches the length of the cage which is a 20 gal long. There is a water bowl in there changed daily, and I mist cage repeatedly all day to keep humidity in the 65%-80% range. My main issue is that he’s not eating and I can notice him getting skinnier. As I said I’ve had him about a month and he was eating at the beginning, I have gotten him to eat 2 mealworms a few wax worms many crickets and a small pinkie I saw him eat while he was in the store still. After I brought him home he was in 3ish inches of substrate and every time I would have to dig all the way to the bottom once or twice a week to feed him and he would eat immediately.

However my issue lies in the last two is weeks he stopped eating fully, so I lowered the substrate amount so that he is constantly at “ambush” height. I have tried all the meetings I’ve heard of such as dangling it in front of him for 10-15 minutes to trigger feeding response, feeding outside the enclosure, slightly rubbing it on his mouth. I have even left crickets in the cage which I know is not recommended and I was desperate and it seemed like he ate them in that way 2 times although I can’t be 100% sure. Mainly just looking for advice from more experienced frog owners. For reference also I have a Leo and a beardie and I know reptiles can go on food strikes for weeks but he’s only a few months old and is now smaller and less round then when I got him.

Any advice would be appreciated or changes in my setup if I am doing something wrong.

THANK YOU 🙏🏼

Edit: he also does move around I see him jumping around the cage and he’s constantly in different spots and I can hear him at night.
