Many people love the movie The Thing (1982). I'm one of them. But some of my favorite scenes in that film are the cast just talking about the absurdity or peril they are in. Not necessarily the action. For example from that film, there's a scene where they lock Blair in the toolshed, talk outside in the freezing snow. Is there a test? If I was an imitation, a perfect imitation, how would you know it was me?

So my question is a movie about people in a perilous situation, where they have these types of conversations. Trying to solve a problem. Trying to reason through a problem. Disagreement. Debate. Some discovery in conversation.
