Hey all!
Been a mustang fan all my life
I’ve had 3 fox bodies, a 67 fastback & 2 s550s (a gen 2 Whipple & a gen 3 twin turbo car ranging from 700-1000 RWHP)
Then I got married… 😂
Coming off a 4/5 year hiatus from selling my toys I’m thinking of getting back into the hobby now that all the dust has settled and life & career are tracking well!
My instinct is to go back to a s550 and do a little build to cruise around in with my wife and newborn
Nothing crazy just clean and fun!
But a little part of me wants to chase down my child hood dream and get my hands on a 13-14 cobra or even a terminator as I have owned many mustangs but I guess I’ve never really owned anything rare or considered a special edition
So my question is for yall out there who have owned special edition models is, do yall regret it?
I know it sounds goofy to say but at times do you wish you had the heated seats and the car play and newer tech (digital dash & active exhaust, etc)
I just don’t wanna talk myself into getting behind a cobra just because in my head it seems so exotic & special and I have sentimental value to it only to wish I had a well optioned s550 or even a s650 for the same money
