Why do some people not go for kickoff when they are in the corner. Instead of going, they wait or grab boost and hope the opponent just goes for kickoff and passes it to them? For context I’m C3 and play 2s and have been seeing this a lot.

In my opinion, it’s so dumb because I pay attention to my opponent every kickoff and would be able to change my shot if I saw this. It feels like more of a 1s strat people are trying to use in 2s.
