I noticed the strangest thing when using Paint Mask while weight painting: long lines coming from my mesh and going into oblivion (see picture 1).
I tried messing with things randomly and I found out that they seem to be caused by the order of my modifiers: putting the Armature mod. before causes this. Conversely, having the Subdiv. mod. first (and Armature last) makes them disappear (see picture 2).
I don't know why, though.
These lines don't seem to cause further problem, more than making things harder to see.
I'm following a tutorial that says that's best to have the Armature mod. as high as possible in the order, which puzzles me.
