Thank you, everyone. We have decided to go with Gertie and call her our little Hurdy-Gurdy in baby talk, Gertrude when she’s naughty. There were some really good suggestions, too. I think we had the same overwhelming feelings when you pee on that stick, as this was an unexpected puppy. After a few days, we were hooked and named her Gertie. I’m adding pictures of our furry family that she is now a part of; Darby our red-headed Goldendoodle and Fritzi, our elderly mini doxie, wearing her spectator hat.
