Hello,

I purchased a scooter (1995 Honda) from original owner, but he could not locate the title. It hasn't been registered in so long it fell off the DMV list.

Went to AAA and they can't register a scooter with this issue I have to go to DMV.

How much hassle is it going to be and what paperwork should I bring? Should I just say brother gave it to me as a gift? The original owner now lives out of the country, and I have no way of contacting them.
