This fitting has slid off of the pipe above it a couple times over the year ive lived in my apartment. Typically when pouring out a larger volume of water from a pot.

How would you rectify the situation? I rent, but would rather them not come into my apartment if I can help it.

Tightening by hand is sub par, but with it being plastic I dont want to tool tighten. It has a rubber washer (not the right term probably) preventing leakage. I could probably pull down on it and get it to disconnect currently.

The pipe running from the left is angled slightly upwards which im aware is a negative, but there doesnt seem to be enough pipe for me to lower it without disconnecting it.
