As someone who very recently only discovered omnibuses and has collected trades for a few months, I wanted to get into Green Lantern, and everyone seems to agree that the best starter run is the Geoff Johns run. But my problem is as someone who values shelf presence a lot, is that the omnis are very much more expensive than the compendiums but the compendium has missing bits and a full reading order. Should I buy the omnis or the compendiums factoring in that the compendiums aren’t sturdy, have not shelf presence, isn’t all out yet but has everything included and is far cheaper?
