Help to replace AI video generator
So, my B2B org is trying to mass produce AI generated Knowledge Base videos. While I have the minor argument that a 2 minute screen record need not be AI generated, that isn't the main issue. The same approach is now extending to feature videos with AI visuals (and more importantly, robotic AI voices) which seems too pure to corrupt and someone in that funnel needs to see human effort and not be appaled by ai content.
Right now, I believe that I am being gaslit by my team that video edits are too much effort to get a reasonable ROI and that voiceover is a very expensive process. But if content creators who have nothing but a phone-attached mic can do it, why is a multi national B2B enterprise skimping on it?
I want to do it by myself and prove the other way with free or open source tools, but i'm stuck on where to start learning. I can learn the processes but i need a sample project where I create my own visuals and cleanup my own voice, before I take on something big like a feature video. Also exploring voiceover expenses. Is it really as expensive as they claim to be? Or were they likely scammed or is it just pure gaslighting to push AI content and 'streamline' teams?
TL;DR: Need suggestions on how to start video editing and voice cleanup, and idea for a sample project, to replace AI video generated videos.
