Noticed this yesterday - for my water map enjoyers.

Before, if you were under the water, and would stand still with inventory open. If you then would proceed to drop items from your inventory with combination of hotkeys SHIFT + LMB - it would drain your oxygen, I guess because you are holding SHIFT while dropping items. So in order to keep your oxygen levels, you would need to drag/drop them manually.

They fixed it this season. If you are not moving, holding SHIFT on it's own no longer drains oxygen. So makes it more convenient to manage your inventory under the sea.

Although I no longer play the game, but I am still part of the cheating discord servers and forums, so I have pretty good insider what's going on that front for DaD cheat providers.

Several major cheat developers, including two big Eastern developers (not going to drop names and titles for obvious reasons), discontinue their product due to the security measures as simple - such as forcing Secure Boot and HVCI. From reading this sub, i am under the impression, that people here genuinely do not understand, how much of an impact that simple security measure had.

Few things i got from the developers - when many customers were asking for updates when new season started.

• Beside the HVCI security measures, the Tavern AC itself got update. It's now more invasive
• One of the providers who was trying to bypass, told, and I think this one is a stretch - or maybe not, that the Tavern is also capable of looking into your browsing history. So if you are visiting blacklisted sites that are related to cheating, your account will be flagged for investigation.
• Bypassing the HVCI - is quite difficult, and as one of the biggest providers said "just not worth the time". They are better to focus on titles like Ark Raiders - where the customer base is much much larger then the DaD scene.

So as of now, at least 4 major providers, no longer support the DaD product. Its been discontinued indefinitely.

Actually, i must be clear here. Some did not discontinue, but they simply do not provide an HVCI support. So technically, the cheats still work - outside of HR and Arena. Because you simply cannot inject those cheat drivers with HVCI enabled.

Now with that said, are there still functioning cheats? Of course. The cheats that are working through DMA, still function just fine. Honestly, not sure how someone battles DMA cheating, because even Faceit and Vanguard are not able to fully withstand those.

But, on the bright side, from my research, DMA cheating is not something that is widely accessible for each of your casual cheating Andies.

Especially if they are cheating for RMT reasons, that's not going to be even remotely profitable.

Cheating with DMA on any game, will require expensive Hardware, and Firmware. + Another gaming PC with dedicated graphics card. So when the cost to cheat before on just a singe PC was about 30-100$ month (depending on the provider and the cheat), now that became 500-1000$ for a gaming PC that can handle DMA, DMA card + Good firmware which will cost you another 500$ for the reliable one, and expensive monthly sub for the DMA cheat itself.

So this in itself as you can imagine, will drastically reduce the number of cheaters.

Some of our favorite streamers that have been running DMA since the ages, still will be doing it and utilizing that ESP no problem, and there is nothing you can do about it.
