Nerf of Soft and wet
Before reading, pls consider that my English is pretty rough.
When I read the manga some time ago, I genuinely thought that it would be a power fantasy because the plunde ability of soft. At first, it looked completely overpowered if it could take away any properties, like friction or even the eyesight of a person, but as the story goes on, Josuke seems to pretty much forget that ability and instead uses his bubbles to just capture objects; even Josefumi, the original user seems to be limited in the same way.
Did Araki regret giving Josuke that ability? like with Koichi and Echoes with that whole metaphor of:
The sound of your voice,
The effect of your voice
The weight of your voice
Because I think he hinted that act 3 could apply different effects by just rhyming words, but he instantly regretted it
