Need help finding a game to sink my teeth into

I recently just took a 3 week break from video games and my hands are itching to play. However, I stopped playing simply because many of the games I have been playing felt like chores rather than having fun. Now that I stopped playing, I don't want to go back to these games.

So right now, I am struggling to find a game that suits what I want. I am looking for something very specific that will satisfy my needs. This is what I am looking for in a video game.

  1. F2P

I don't mind a one time purchase, but I don't want to constantly spend a lot of money on the game. I do not want a game that has ANY way to spend money that sets one person ahead of another person in terms of gameplay.

  1. Progression

The gameplay doesn't matter too much but I do have a type of game I like to play. I love games with a progression system. Raise your level, train your characters, unlock new skills, etc. What comes with progression is grinding and farming. I want the farm to be endless and to have something that I can always work towards. You can farm however you want, whenever you want as long as you have the time for it.

  1. Competitiveness/Heavy end game content and cycle.

I want a game that directly involves competing against another person/group. Something along the lines of a leaderboard or a rank point system. A game where competition matters so much, it has an esport or could be an esport. I also love PvE. I want the progression to be challenging and engaging. I will emphasize on the engaging because I don't want a game where you can just afk everything.

I like games with a union or group system with other players.

  1. I prefer to NOT play an MMO. I have tried a few but I do not like the gameplay/graphics/feel of the game. You can recommend some to me, but don't recommended just MMOs.

I think thats it. I am being very picky about my games because if I don't find a game for me to play and grind, then I most likely will quit gaming in general because my break felt AMAZING. I felt free.

Some games I played and enjoyed for reference:

Etheria Restart: (similar to Epic 7 or summoner's war and probably one of the games I invested heavy into in term of time.) Amazing turn based gameplay. Amazing content. Union battles are amazing and you can still have personal rank with 1v1s. The problem: I couldn't keep up with progression as I was completely F2P. I peaked top 200 players each season but I couldn't do so anymore in the latest season due to the pay gap.

Warframe: Amazing everything. Visuals, gameplay, and very fun progression. The problem: low emphasis on competition and end game content. Things get very easy once you get strong.

Where winds meet: Again. Amazing visuals, decent gameplay, and your typical gacha/asian progression with random stats which I don't mind too much but there was a problem. The problem: The game has a stamina system. I can't farm however much I want because to get gear, you need to spend a resource that takes time to recover.
