Looks aside, absolutely loving the lead protection system. Can finally use 0.5mm 2B leads without worrying.
The sleeve retracts while writing, which leads to a slight scratchy feeling. Because the sleeve is directly touching the paper. I got used to it. Not sure if this is a great deal or the base variant is a particularly bad deal. There was only a $1.5 price gap, and a $6 gap between this and the AT variant.
Saw some reports saying it doesn't work well for writing at an angle. I personally didn't have that problem, as someone who writes at a shallow angle. But yeah, the scratchiness is more noticable then.
