Gwinnett voting lags all other metro Atlanta counties

As of close of polls yesterday, Gwinnett - the second largest county by population in the state - lags all other metro ATL counties, with under 5% voted so far in early voting. We were the only metro county under 5% yesterday!

Here's what you can do.

- before you and your friends go out tonight for Friday drinks or dinner, head to the polls together. During early voting, you can vote at any early voting site in the county.

- before you hit the gym, court, or field tomorrow, take your team or opponents to the poll with you.

- after Mother's Day brunch or dinner Sunday, bring the entire family to the polls to get your voting done.

Come on, Gwinnett! Let's get out there and vote!

I've seen the new ads from Sarah Hawkins Warren, incumbent state supreme court justice, lying and saying there are partisan attacks against her and her colleague, Charles Bethel. She says they follow the law, not politics.

Well, Sarah, as we've heard from our state and federal supreme courts, justices interpret the law, not follow it. And your interpretations take away rights from citizens and hand them over to government officials and corporations, causing deaths and destruction -- and resulting in a corpse being forced to carry a child.

Your interpretations of our state constitution and its laws are ghoulish and dangerous and bring us closer to authoritarian fascism every day.

Frankly, I will not vote for justices who continue to limit the freedoms of citizens while giving greater freedoms to government and corporations. I will not be voting for any incumbent justices.

I've flaired this as politics to follow subreddit rules. However, as it is non-partisan, I did not want to do so.
