I bought an 7900xtx OC and I was wondering why is it smaller than my 7900xt.

My theory: gigabyte is using copper for the heatsink pipes while the Asus uses aluminium. Or is Asus using an overbuilt heatsink for multiple models while gigabyte makes it just good enough?

I am using them in a "compact" build and the XT was fine until now. I would do some testing but I first need to redesign the support, the thing is that the graphic card sits back to back with the motherboard so I may have to keep more room between them. Does anyone have experience with the thermals?
